The BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Track is also accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA); Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA), 10275 W. Higgins Rd, Suite 906, Rosemont, IL 60018-5603, (224) 275-9130, accreditation@coacrna.org. This accreditation permits graduates to take the National Certification Examination to obtain the CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) credential from the National Board for Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). The BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Track was reviewed on 2018 and received 10 years of continuing accreditation, which is the maximum recognition by the COA. The next onsite visit by a COA team will take place in 2028.

The University of Miami's accreditation was last affirmed by SACSCOC in 2018. The next review is in 2028.
